Fulham foil Tottenham, as Man City move up to third in the EPL

Tottenham missed the chance to move up to third in the EPL standings after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham this morning.
Harry Kane headed Spurs ahead in the first half, only for Ivan Cavaleiro to draw the visitors level in the second period.
The result leaves Tottenham sixth in the standings, two points adrift of the top four.

Meanwhile, Man City moved up to third after their 1-0 win over Brighton.
Phil Foden netted the only goal of the game.

Mauricio Pochettino has won his first title as PSG’s new manager as his side defeated Marseille 2-1 to lift the Champions Trophy.
Holders Bayern Munich have been knocked out in the second round of the German Cup, losing 6-5 on penalties to second-tier side Holstein Kiel.
Barcelona are through to the Spanish Super Cup final after beating Real Sociedad 3-2 on penalties.
While Juventus have made the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, after a 3-2 extra-time win over Genoa.

Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia is through to the second round of the Thailand Badminton Open, fighting back from a set down to beat India’s HS Prannoy.
The nation’s top men’s singles shuttler will next take on another opponent from India – K. Srikanth – for a place in the quarterfinals.
Yesterday also saw fellow Malaysian Liew Darren pull off an upset win over world number three Anders Antonsen…while our challenge in the women’s singles is over, after S. Kisona and Soniia Cheah both lost their matches.
