Italy are the first team to reach the Euro 2020 knockout rounds, after their 3-0 win over Switzerland in Group A.

Manuel Locatelli netted twice, before Ciro Immobile secured the win with a long-range strike late in the game.

This is Italy’s second-successive victory in the group stage after their opening win over Turkey.

Rafa Benitez is reportedly close to being appointed as Everton’s new manager.

Both parties have already undergone three rounds of negotiations, with the Spaniard now the overwhelming favourite for the job.

If he is appointed, Benitez will become the first man to manage both Merseyside clubs…having also led Liverpool for six years.

Sergio Ramos is set to leave Real Madrid after 16 years at the club.

The long-serving captain’s current contract expires at the end of the month, with both parties unable to agree on an extension.

Man United, Man City, PSG and Ramos’ former club Sevilla are all reportedly in the running for his services.
