Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo’s two goals in Portugal’s draw this morning has made him the joint-top scorer in international football.
It brings his tally to 109, level with record holder Ali Daei of Iran.
It is confirmed that Malaysia’s Olympic silver medalist diver Cheong Jun Hoong will not be participating at the Tokyo Games.
This, after the sport’s governing body FINA made a last-minute change to the qualifying rules, to only let in the top 15 ranked divers instead of 18.
Jun Hoong had finished 18th at a recent qualifying event.
