Subsidized Diesel For All Malaysians

Starting next month, all Malaysians will get access to subsidized diesel.

The Finance Ministry says the fuel will be available for 2 ringgit 10 sen per liter, via a Mykad-based mechanism similar to Budi95.

Currently, unsubsidized diesel is going for 4 ringgit 37 sen per liter in the Peninsular, while the subsidized price in Sabah and Sarawak is 2.15 per liter.

More information about the diesel subsidy will be announced later today.
