CAS Ruling On Naturalization Issue Expected Next Week

The Court of Arbitration For Sport has concluded its hearing on Malaysia’s appeal regarding the footballer naturalization issue.

Sources say the panel will need time to go over its decision…with a ruling only expected sometime next week.

The ruling will determine the fate of seven Harimau Malaya players…who are accused of submitting forged documents to get Malaysian citizenship.

Nottingham Forest have made the last-16 of the Europa League…despite a 2-1 loss to Fenerbahce in the second leg of their playoff this morning.

The Premiership advances 4-2 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace defeated Bosnian opponents Zrinjski  2-0 this morning and 3-1 on aggregate over in the Conference League last-16 playoffs.
