Aaron-Wooi Yik Settle For 2nd Place At All England

Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik have finished as runners-up at the All England Badminton Championship.

The country’s top men’s doubles pair put up a strong fight in the final, before going down in three sets to the world number one pair of Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae of South Korea.

This is the third time Aaron and Wooi Yik have had to settle for second place in the tournament.

Datuk Azizulhasni Awang has picked up his second medal at the Track Cycling World Cup series in Perth.

He took the bronze in the men’s individual sprint event…to add to the Keirin gold medal that he won over the weekend.

Third-tier side Port Vale has made the quarterfinals of the FA Cup…after a shock 1-0 win over Premier League club Sunderland.

In other results…Southampton edged Fulham also by a goal to nil.

While Leeds had a 3-0 win over Norwich City.
