Zii Jia Injured Again, But A-Okay

The national badminton coaching director has revealed that shuttler Lee Zii Jia was forced to sit out of training recently after sustaining an ankle strain.

However, he assured that the injury is just minor, and that Zii Jia should be able to recover easily.  

The men's singles shuttler has been battling ankle and back problems for more than a year now.  

This, as Malaysia continues preparations for the Thomas Cup in Denmark later this month.

England boss Thomas Tuchel is urging fans to be more understanding following their 1 – nil friendly defeat against Japan.

He says the loss, which is their first ever against an Asian nation, can act as a valuable lesson for their road to the World Cup.  

Tuchel adds that while it's always painful to lose, these matches will help them learn as it's not the end of the world.

And the Spanish Football Federation has condemned anti-Muslim chants which were heard during the first half of their goalless friendly draw with Egypt this morning.

It says such behavior has no place in the sport.
