A Malaysian football analyst says both France and England need to address their weaknesses ahead of the 2026 Football Festival third-place playoff match.

According to Zack Rahim, France relies too much on quick counter-attacks and individual player talent.

They are also too tactically rigid and fail to adapt once their star players are marked out of the game.

Meanwhile, Zack reckons that England tend to underestimate their opponents once they secure a lead.  

This, ahead of the third-place playoff on Sunday morning.

Separately, organisers of the Football Festival in North America will give players of the winning team championship rings, in addition to the traditional trophy and winners' medals.

Such rings are typically given out in major North American sports, such as the NFL and NBA.

Man United forward Marcus Rashford has ruled out a proposed move to Turkish side Fenerbahçe.

The England international is set to return for pre-season at Old Trafford, before manager Michael Carrick decides on his future.

Rashford, who spent last season on loan at Barcelona, reportedly prefers a move to a top European club.
