Champions League: Galatasaray Stun Juventus

Galatasaray have reached the last-16 of the Champions League for the first time in nearly 12 years.

This, after they side pulled off a shock 7-5 aggregate victory over Italian giants Juventus despite losing 3-2 in the second leg this morning.

The Turkish side will next face either Liverpool or Tottenham.

In other playoff results…

Holders PSG advanced after a 2-2 draw with Monaco saw the Paris club go through 5-4 on aggregate.

Real Madrid defeated Benfica 2-1 this morning and 3-1 on aggregate.

While Atalanta bounced back to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1 to wrap up a 4-3 victory over both legs.

Back home in Malaysia Cup action…JDT defeated Melaka FC 3-1 to complete an 8-1 aggregate victory in the quarterfinals.

The Southern Tigers will go on to face KL City in the semis.

In other news…

Chelsea and West Ham have both been fined around 300 thousand pounds…after nearly 20 players were involved in a mass brawl at the end of their Premiership tie last month.
