Man United have taken a massive step towards Champions League football after a 1-0 EPL win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The result leaves the Red Devils third in the standings, needing eight points from their remaining five matches to qualify for Europe’s premier club competition next season.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have lost four league matches in a row and have failed to score in any of those losses.

Brighton netted a late equaliser to salvage a 2-all draw with Tottenham.

Bournemouth defeated Newcastle 2-1.

Leeds overcame Wolves 3-0. 

While Brentford and Fulham played out a goalless draw.

Over in Spain, 

Real Sociedad have won the Copa Del Rey after a penalty shootout victory over Atletico Madrid. 

The final had finished 2-all after extra-time.

Elsewhere, 

Napoli’s Serie A title defence is effectively over, after their 2-nil loss to Lazio left them 12 points behind leaders Inter with just five games to go.

While back home, 

Kuching City have qualified for the Malaysia Cup final for the first time ever, after beating Selangor 1-0 in the second-leg of their semifinal to wrap up a 2-1 victory on aggregate.

They will next face defending champions JDT at the National Stadium next month.
