The European champions were solid in defense and commanding in midfield as they snuffed out the threat of the French attack led by Kylian Mbappe.
This means that France – who entered the showdown as overwhelming favourites – now miss out on what would have been third final in a row.
Spain will next take on the winners of tomorrow’s other massive semifinal between England and Argentina.
