This Summer's Football Festival Cost Reduce Productivity

The football festival in North America could cost global employers up to US$17 billion in lost productivity, with many workers planning to adjust schedules to watch matches.

A survey in 8 countries found 27% of employees may arrive late, leave early, or skip work, while others admit to streaming games during office hours.

Managers are also affected, with many likely to take time off or request flexibility during the tournament period.
