Beware of possible Justice League spoilers ahead!

After a series of lacklustre films, including Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC fans were almost ready to give up on the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), until Wonder Woman restored their hopes and kept them eager for the next film in the series – Justice League.

Expectations were running high for this one – with Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Cyborg, nothing could possibly go wrong… right? Well, apparently something did, because the film grossed only around RM 387 million (US$94 million) on its opening night, a mediocre amount for the franchise.
