It’s Tun Dr Siti’s!
A biopic on Tun Dr Siti Hasmah titled ‘Hasmah’ was announced to go into production next March and we’re not crossing the dates on the calendar… yet...
But calm down, there’s no script just yet, but Dr. Siti has mentioned how she’d like the movie to end.
“When we met her, she requested for the ending to be set in New York with the graduation of one of her grandchildren, and all the family members gathered in one place”, Producer Hafiz Datuk Rozlan highlighted.
It will narrate the love story of the power couple as well as the sacrifices she made, highlighting both the good and bad times she (or they) had gone through in life.
By what we know so far, it’s going to be filmed chronologically from her childhood, younger days and finally the present.
Hafiz has hopes that this movie will inspire viewers and showcase the kind of harmony one can achieve as a family because Dr. Siti is an icon for women all over the world.

Now we know you’re excited to know who the cast is. Actress Nad Zainal will be playing Dr. Siti Hasmah while Hasnul Rahmat will play the role of Tun M!

The movie is budgeted at RM6 – RM7million, with filming done both locally and abroad, including Singapore, London, Japan and New York!
